Both science and Marxism can be held in a dogmatic way, right? We all know dogmatic Marxists who adhere to doctrine more than dialectical materialism. But just because something can be used dogmatically by the ignorant doesn't mean that it inevitably gives rise to dogmatism. So ultimately, I do think Marxism broke away from philosophy and toward science. When he said, when Marx said, the philosophers have hitherto only interpreted the world, the point is to change it.
