Aristotle says that the basic bits of reality are particular things you can touch and interact with. He subverts plato's idea that true beings are unchanging by insisting that one reason individual substances are primary is precisely that they undergo change. Aristotle also takes advantage of some of his own technical distinctions to force unappealing choices on plato.
