The Guardian reported of a former Amazon employee who actually had to record a lot of commands for the Echo like he did the voice for it and stuff. One day he came home and found his own Echo spitting out loads of mad old information that he had asked it over the months about recording TV shows, things he'd been looking up. And it wouldn't stop. He said, I felt a bit foolish having worked at Amazon and having seen how they used people's data, I knew I couldn't trust them.
