Is There a Less Trappy Question?

I want to know what your mental model is around, why you circulate, what's it for? And I do need to ask a quite, I mean, there's an open question as to whether there's a less trap feeling question which does that job. The going into on my hypothesis, which I might be wrong about, closes that diagnostic thing off a bit because I'm offering a specific hypothesis before I know what the teacher really thinks.
