Calcium Ion-Related Fatigue in Strength Training

The length or training the muscle is going to play a factor in the type of fatigue that's going to be induced. We tend to not get very much calcium ionic weight fatigue, but we tend to get high amounts of metabolic stress or metabolite related fatigue. Any time we're training with a long muscle length, we're going to get extra calcium ion-related fatigue which is going to cause more of the mechanical tension expression.
