The One Percent for the Environment
I think there's a lot of smoke and mirrors out there. What about the one percent for the planet, which was 1985, the, the self-imposed earth tax? How did that come about? We used to give 10% of our sales before taxes to the environment. So I said, you know, it shouldn't be charity. It should be a cost of doing business. Why not 1% of sales? And that's where that started.
