How to Avoid Elimination Diets When You Have No Idea Why You Have a Symptom

I think a lot of people do elimination diets because they're having bloating constipation, cramping. I really try to encourage people not to go that route until we have a reasonable hypothesis. And then to really be as pinpointing and kind of scalpel as possible rather than sledgehammer. You don't need more than two weeks on an elimination diet to know if it's helping. If it's not helping, please reintroduce the food.
