"I've been on active duty for 10 years, don't have to shave every day. I can go more than a week without getting a haircut," he says. "My hair does not look good long ... It's pretty bad." He moved to Colorado with a buddy who he served with and got a job bartending at Keystone ski resort. After one year of skiing in the mountains, he decided to start grad school.
