Is There a Benefit to Cycling Training?
Most cyclists tend to stick with one training session per day. And they tend to be quite controlled on the intensity, meaning that there's not a lot of mixing of intensities in the session. So i'm not saying tht what they're doing is wrong. I think it's a function of the racing that that demands of the racing. Rowers race for seven minutes. Cross country skiers max race for two hours,. at least in the whirl cup circuit. But you've got to have some flat rides that just don't push you into the end of the threshold area when you don't want to be there.
