The metoanalyses seem to suggest that for upper bodies, specifically, a frequency of two times a week appears to be better than one time per week per muscle group. Lower body, they didn't see differences. Now i don't think that there's magic between the two. I think that this is probably lost in noise. But frequency is a wonderful way to distribute volume. And if you enjoy it, you'll work harder at it and you're more likely to consistent with it.
