The Impact of T-P53 Mutations on Myelofibrosis
Myelofibrosis is a chronic myeloproliferative neoplasm that develops either de novo or evolves from essential thrombocythemia. In patients with Mylo Displastic syndromes, T-P53 mutations are associated with high-risk disease and rapid transformation to acute myeloid leukemia. Even though significant progress has been made in understanding the effects of mutational profiles on hematological malignancies, the impact of T-P 53 mutations on prognosis remains poorly understood.
