The Hippo Mentality in Product Development?

In product development, it's not really like i'm the product manager, and i know what to build. It's more like oh, here here is, here's my idea, let me test it. But i really care about the results and the what i do after. And you need to be flexible and adjust to the feetbak that you get. You have to be opinionated on figuring out what you think the directions should be,. but on the other hand, you have to be humble and listen to what actually results are or what doesn't.
