Vitamin D Supplementation

If you are not getting 20 minutes of sun exposure per day, you really should consider supplementing. I personally take 1000 IUs per day, which is about 25 micrograms of vitamin D. This is even more important for people from countries that get minimal sunlight. The third nutrient I recommend people supplement is omega-3 with an algae oil. By cutting out that middleman, you're getting a clean source of omega-3s without the risk of mercury, microplastic or dioxin.
