Is Questioning Really Important?

Teachers should use whole class response systems or a combination of wait time cold call and everybody right oh flip yeah like the sound of this okay so first of all I wanted to explain why I think questioning is so important. It's a really neglected form of tea part of our teaching that we kind of assume um that teachers know how to ask questions well. But actually you don't realize the amount of thought and kind of the teacher themselves develop in their questioning habits. So because it's super important it's it's crucial that our questioning involves as many people as possible as much of the time as possible.
