Boredom and Mind-Waving Exercises
Boredom makes your attention sort of wonder. You know, you shift your attention to something else cause you don't get anything out of that painting or that particular situation. And in that shift, there can also be something really positive and interesting Happening. The mind wandering exercise kind of looks at the way that we can look at things and think of them in a different way. So say, for example, if you sit on the floor or stand really close or very far away, you get a different experience of that particular painting.
