How to Measure Calf Muscle Complex Strength in a Smith Machine
I think it's really hard to come up with targeted weights or something that someone should lift. Isometric strength testing for the plantar flexors is really, really hard. I'm a big fan of doing the functional one repetition max testing and overdoing an isometric test. It's pretty easy to do an isometric strength test if you have a really nice quality dynamometer.
