Some of my best relationships have started where we spend 28 minutes of the discovery call just shooting the ship, and then at the 28 minute mark were like, crapwy didn't talk about business. One ofur most influential deals when i was at a previous company was with morning star financial. We banged down this sdore this person's door for two and a half years. He finally caved because he was best friends with a comedian that i used to have on my team years ago. And they spent 30 minutes of the call just talking about parenting. Then he was like, ship, we didn't even talk about work. Shes like, will book another call, read the room
