The black swan method involves asking deferentially to advance your agenda. Ask a how question that the listener, it feels deferential. And it makes them stop and think and then make them give you what you want. The only time you walk into the boss's office is because you want something. You can tell somebody something and until you've told them 19 times, they don't think it boss. I'm a team player boss. How am I supposed to do that? Is the first story in never split the difference?
