When carbohydrates were presented with artificial sweeteners specifically sucralose in this case, people became insulin resistant really fast there were metabolic derangements. Andrew hasn't spoken about it yet on his podcast I'm sure he will but so many of the advocates for artificial sweeteners I've never heard them address this. There are over 3000 foods probably close to 4000 foods at this point that have sucral sugar in them and added calories in the form of sugar. So they do that well sucralose is sweet so Sucralose is also cheaper than sugar so manufacturers can make something sweeter and say that it has less sugar,. But you're absolutely messing up the metabolism.
