In a decade of articles in the new england journal of medicine, 77% concluded what's newer is better. But if you tested something doctors were already doing, forty percent of the time we found that it was contradicted or reversal. The third harm is loss of trust in the medical system. We are making people feel like there is nothing that the doctor does that's really trustworthy.
