Is Protein Helping Carbohydrate?

After a workout, certainly be recommended and plenty good for somebody to start getting protein immediately. But as long as you're getting adequate enough carbohydrate, then it really actually doesn't matter how much protein you add to it. It doesn't help carbohydrate any more than having carbohydrate by itself would be. You'd have to consume an adequate amount of carbohydrate before you would worry about protein helping carbohydrate per se.
