Trauma as a Journalist

I was blown away by the generosity of people who had nothing when they were given an ounce of something. The incongruity of suddenly being in a five star, four star Islamabad hotel where you've got a soft bed. And yeah, I was washing my boots and I was aware that I was washing all this stuff away and it felt wrong. It's not easy to get back on your feet after such trauma.
