How I Become a Head of Strategy

When David started programming basecamp, he did it in this new framework he made called Ruby on Rails. It was just the HTML that we already used to make web pages. As I got more between sort of the design and program with one leg on each side, it became natural for me to be kind of this person in the middle. And then when it came into questions of how do we get stuff built, how do we manage the process of building a feature? Those were the conversations that I was having with Jason and David that felt like they were the most important conversations.
