Social media algorithms can be addictive or designed to push harmful content that erodes self-esteem. 76% of young people in the USA, social media can make young people want to change their appearance. The only way that social media companies will enact change is if we make them.
If you have ever been in a situation where another was willing to harm you for their own benefit, then abuse has happened and that person has become an abuser.
