The Problems With Line of Action Studies
The trapezius was the example that they talked about most, but they give lats and pecs as similar examples. There's a multitude of problems with line of action studies. It doesn't always give us an accurate representation of what's going on. The other thing is that muscles have volume. They bulge out away from joints and bones and stuff like that.
