How different is an alcoholic from a normal person? Is that even the right word to use? You know, how do we define ourselves? Which i think there's room for a lot more nuance. I've stopped defining myself that way when i was about four or five years sober. If one of the words make them feel safe, they should keep it. But i think no matter what lexican you use around your ediction, whether you say that you're sober or clean or alcohol free or teetotal or drug whatever you want to use, adex alcoholic,. The only thing that matters is remembering the place you found yourself and never wanting back there.
