How to Relax Your Body

With each exhalation, just relax the body. If the belly is relaxed, the mind will follow. And when you're ready, try to visualize a bright, simple shape such as a circle behind your closed eyes and fill this shape with any color that's soothing to you. It could be a shade of blue or orange or red or any color. Just fill the circle without a black outline, just a circle filled with color. As you breathe in, expand the circle. When you breathe out, allow the circle to rest.
