In software, you can have something that really is just a duplicate of what existed. You could also have something that introduces a new algorithm that's never been done before and puts the boundary. And applying that to a multitude of problems is super exciting because it allows humans for the first time really to anticipate what the results of our actions will be. So we can redesign everything in the world to be more efficient.
