When I was talking to them, I got the sense that they felt obligated in a way to always be available on the phone because they felt obligated to be there for their friends. Their friends might need them for something. And it was kind of endearing in a way, all consuming but endearing inAlicia: "I don't think our girls should feel that way." It's a lot of pressure that they've put on themselves.
