The More Status You Have, the Better Everything Is

The more status we have, the better everything else is. We all want more status because it's this short cutto the good life. Different cultures have different rules for gaining statusa. The two that have had the most attention so far by psychologist is east and west. Westerners tend to see the world made up ofndals, made up of individual pieces and parts. Whereas in the east, it's about the group first. So i am principally a member of a group. And in order to get along and get ahead, i need to do my bit for the group sotat their fundamental ways of seeing the world.
