How Did You Get Started in Data?
Timothy Stanley: I did my undergrad in computer science and my PhD in computer science at the University of Texas at Austin. He started a small startup that was focused around analyzing social media data. His company ended up getting bought by InfoChimp's, which was focused on big data platforms as a service like Hadoop and Spark. Now he works for Dataworld, catalog and governance company.Stanley: There is definitely a lot of hype around now and a both excitement and concern about several different topics. The modern data stack is another big topic of excitement and but also fear and confusion. And just to list off a few others, real time, AI, data ops, right?
