The Metaphor Stretch

I'm essentially retired in many ways, but retired 15 minutes from Todington. I played five rounds of golf this week. That's not normal for someone who's essentially in full-time work. We're moving next week and there's a lot of stuff to do. At the moment, it feels absolutely insurmountable. And I look at my house where we've lived for nine years and had two children. Why are we moving? You could cope with lockdown without a garden. It's not locked down anymore. But you move into house with a gun, but it is.
