Crossfitters are able to swing so far in one direction then so far back in the other. They're so malleable like some of these athletes who have respectable strength metrics but they still have that low resting muscle tension and i think that's something that you're just not going to train into someone else. One way to do this is to stack training a way that maybe you start their session with the strength training then you figure out the appropriate dose of training that will lower their muscle tension. It has the net effect of being like a neutral impact on tension or a lower impact on tension.
