The Importance of Self Care
The entire US economy is built on the unpaid or underpaid labor of women. So we are living in an economy that is incentivized to have us believe that the solution to our problems is to buy something or to work harder. The real work of self care is actually invisible and takes a really long time. And it's not something that you can measure or check off on a list.
