I couldn't agree more about the basic drills, even for advanced athletes. And what I found is that they're kinesthetic awareness in their body is sometimes like really deep,. Like you can see them thinking deeply about something incredibly simple. They get a lot more data from their body than the average person. But there does come a stage where if you push so far towards the performance and you limit your health, then your health is going to start to push back and limit your performance.
