The Importance of Companionate Love in Marriage
A study says a marriage cannot satisfy more than 25% of your emotional needs. The search for someone to hold you, love you as you are and fill the void inside of loneliness is an ideal no marriage can live up to. To look for that in a spouse is to turn them into a de facto God onto which you project all of your narcissistic desire. But they can be a companion for the spiritual journey as your soul makes its way back to union with God.
