What Are the Differences Between a Body Clock and a Night Shift?
One's chronotype, morning, intermediate or evening type, is defined upon a sort of th three or four criteria. Men tend to want to go to bed later, for longer to women who pique in there in their lateness earlier than men. And the fourth which is so important, is how much morning versus evening light you see. We now have examples where tiny changes in some of those genes and the proteins they incode will translate into whether you're a morning type or an evening type. Just one amino acid change can change morningness to eveningness - i just think that's really intriguing.
