The ethical demands that the roman stoics are placing on themselves, and also on us, are just too demanding. You said before that is a very tough, rigorous regime in terms of learning how to become a stoic. But also what they are expecting us to do as stoics seems to be extremely demanding. Do you think t that's a general problem with their view? I don't see any reason why we can't read the lateRoman stoics in the same spirit that they are demanding. And but we needn't dismiss them because they're demanding. We can still gain a look from them, sure.
