Back in 1996, Pepsi launched a new promotion called Pepsi Points. Those points could get you anything from a mountain bike to a baseball hat. A 20-year-old named John Leonard saw the commercial on TV and couldn't believe what he saw. That meant you could actually get the Harrier jet if you could find a way to accumulate 7 million Pepsi Points.
