How Not to Be Afraid of Your Feelings

When you talk about doing the action even before you feel motivated, that big emotional chunk is inou gut or your brain. What does somebody do with their emotions to be able to take that action? Ah, that's a great question. The first question is, are we push ourselves to do something we hate? Or are we pushing ourselves to dosomething that we value and that we have enjoyed before? For social anxiety, there's often a script as well. So for ex i do not like company parties, but i go. I know it's important to go, and i'm usually glad i went. That doesn't mean that i should listen to them and bail.
