Women seem to be wired for stress a little bit. It's, we think that it would make sense that it was an evolutionary thing to help the population. You don't want to be procreating and having lots of kids during a time of war or famine,. So when your body is really sensing a lot of stress, it is not going to want to obvulate. And that's the cause of lots of infertility in our world.

Dr. Amy Shah is a double board-certified MD with an undergraduate degree with honors from Cornell in Nutrition, medical training at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, then further research and residency training at the Harvard Hospitals, and advanced training at the Columbia Presbyterian Hospital in Immunology/Allergy.
