Is It a Thing?

Teachers need to be mindful of these unintentional cues, especially with the learning environments. What might be a cue for one person might not necessarily be a Cue for another. If retrieval practice is going to be sustainable, it has to be work load friendly. This is something that you're looking for every lesson. And this is an approach with retrieval practice, but it can apply to other things. The low effort doesn't mean no effort. With every retrieval practiced task that we design and deliver, it should have a high impact on student learning. That's where my efforts went out in the lesson.
