Product Management Information Is Not Fluff
Product management has been around for many, many years. The vast majority of people I know that are really excellent at product management to learn it from someone who knew how to do it. Good companies will hire great MBAs but then put them through a deep programming so they can unlearn that stuff that they probably learned. It takes somewhere between one and two years to get the experience under your belt.
