Diverse rotations just means changing what you're growing on the land. It actually reminds me of something that I saw when I was in Italy touring a vineyard where they showed us all of the cover crops that they planted with their grape vines. So it's this really neat intricate old process that's kind of been abandoned by industrial farming. But big industrial farm productions don't do this because they see it as a waste of money, but it seems really essential for the health of the soil.
