Nate: It's really important to be objective with these and understand how they're affecting things. If Tahoe's not a big deal and you just want to do it for fun, then yeah, have fun. But if you're really concerned about having a better result for that race, I would maybe take some of those weeks off. We've all seen this with group rides and stuff. They're hard but because of the nature of it, it doesn't actually make us faster. Structure is more likely to be good at giving you fitness and make you precisely fatigued,. Like intentionally, like not ramp it up too much.
