Is There a Different Correct Answer in the Elite World?
I think sometimes when you throw a bunch of young athletes onto a team and you have this really evolved perspective on nutrition, it's easy to feel like an outsider. Did you ever counter that in your process? Yeah, I doubt it would make me doubt myself. And that was a big motivator for writing the book because I think when you are able, when you can see what plays out over a few decades, it becomes very clear what the right choice is. But there's no athlete that in the moment can ever know on their own.
