Is There a Hype Cycle?

Uber and DoorDash are the only two categories that underly survived. I think there's a little bit of this sort of like seductive technologist, navel gazing that happens where just because you can doesn't mean you do it. So for me, getting into like generative AI right now is just like would be crazy. But as a VC, it makes a lot of sense.
