The Different Types of Neuropathy

Neuropathy is such a general term. It has so many subsets. People spend their entire careers on subsets of subsets of neuropathy. When we say poly neuropathy usually we're talking about things secondary to systemic disease or toxic metabolic disease, inflammatory disease like Guillain-Barre syndrome or chronic cousin CIDP. You can have congenital poly neuropathies. There's again a very wide spectrum. And then with mononoropathies we're often talking about most commonly compression or entrapment neuropathy but also you can get traumatic disease as well.
