The Effects of Plant Protein on Cholesterol Levels

One to two servings of plant protein in substitution for animal protein decreases LDL-C and apolipro protein B by around 4%, which is a meaningful amount. Using your animal-based products with plant-based proteins is a strategy that I would advise and monitor with repeated blood tests over the time period that you're making that dietary change.
