The Flint: A History of the Roman Empire
In 91 BC, the Flint was sparked again by a tribunium named Marcus Drusas. This time, the kindling lit, and pretty soon, a full-scale bonfire was raging. One by one, Italian cities began to openly declare that they no longer bore any allegiance to Rome. The only region to remain steadfastly in the Roman camp were the Latins.
